Heavy on Fashion at the ME Char Handbags Blogger's Brunch

Hey everyone! I was glad to receive a invite to the ME Char Handbags Blogger's Brunch in New York City. I was so excited that I left my digital camera at home. Thank goodness for my camera phone. You know I love to go to city especially when fashion and style are involved! So here is an exclusive look at Me Char Blogger Brunch, a look at the Me Char Showroom, and a exclusive preview of the Me Char handbag collection.

The Bags

The Spring/Summer 2012 collection - The Iconic Collection

Charmaine inspiration for her Spring/Summer 2012 collection was the late and Stylish Edie Sedgwick. Edie was the muse of Andy Warhol and fashion icon of the 60's.  Edie lived a glamorous and tragic life. The mixture of boldness and vulnerability can be seen throughout the collection.

The Edie Envelope Clutch is on my must have list. The tab zipper and fold flap makes this bag so unique and fun.

Lately I been closet shopping. I am trying to save to cash while add some style to my look.  I had my wedge boots, my dark denim jeans, my forever 21+ tank and my grey open cardigan.

I have a secret, I am addicted to handbags. From satchels to hobos, I have it! Some of my handbags are designer (thank goodness for off price retailers!) and others are just fabulous to have. So I am happy to add this new Me Char handbags to my collection.

I would like to give a special thanks to The Staff of Me Char, Designer and Creative Director of Me Char Handbags -Charmaine Ho , Press Account Director of edite.us - Laura van der Hulst,  and The New Jersey Beauty and Fashion Bloggers Group on Meetup.com!

NYFW S/S 2012 with Dashing Diva, Daisy Fuentes, Kohl's, and more !

Fashion week was full of style, beauty, and some serious celebrity power. Today I am going to talk about my backstage look at the Daisy Fuentes' fashion show.  Yes Daisy Fuentes has a great fashion collection at Kohl's. There were some serious pros working to get Daisy's look and vision across. With nails by Patti Yankee of Dashing Diva, hair by Whitney Blischke of Toni & Guy, and makeup by VIktorija Bowers at Kat Ryan Inc for BeautiControl.

Dashing Diva Nails!

Nude is a huge color for the season so I am happy that Dashing Diva pull out "Fashion Week" for the runway. Fashion Week is a sheer flesh-toned peachy pink nail ploish that looks great on every skin tone. So make sure you have a great peachy nail polish in your beauty tool kit.

NYFW Fact : Nude was a very popular color at NYFW.

The Makeup

Here is VIktorija Bowers, lead makeup artist for the show. I had a chance to talk to her about the overall look for the show. Think a socialite in St Tropez coming from a day beach and transitioning into a evening of dancing, cocktails, and laughs! For the perfect St. Tropez Look, you need a beautiful smokey, a great bronzer, and a nude lip.

VIktorija applied a bronzer to give a golden sun kissed look to the models. Bronzer is a great way to give a glow effect to any fashionista. A shimmer lotion was also used to give off the glowing/sun-kissed look.

I love this mascara brush!

The Hair

I love this look. Very 70's yet modern. Pin curls were used to get these great curls.

The Looks!

Daisy Fuente's collection oozed the essence of French glamour and St. Tropez casual sexyiness. A fashion collection that can be worn in real life is a stylish treat.

These shoes are so cute!

This look can be achieved by anyone. Simple is always chic with the right accessories.

Backstage!

Backstage at any fashion show can be busy and hectic but everyone was very nice and profesional. You can not go wrong with clothing, cameras, and tons of style!

Love this coral color dress and the espadrilles are to die for!

Daisy Fuentes

Here is Daisy backstage! Her shoes were fabulous.

The Show!

Here is the collection. The show was fantastic.

Many celebrities are merging into the fashion and retail industry. Some with success, others not so much. I believe that Daisy's Summer/Spring Collection is wearable, affordable, and stylish.  Dare I say one of the hottest celebs lines out right now.

My look

For some reason I been feeling black. I love my costume jewelry. I never leave home without it!  I just I was channeling my big sister @CannieAzalea who is a huge fan of black for the season.

The Giftbag

Here is my giftbag from the show! Absolutely fabulous! make sure you check out Daisy fabulous  collection at Kohl's! I am also happy to see that Daisy has a really great plus size collection too!

I had a fabulous time at the show! Special thanks to Dashing Divas for the invite!
