How Independent is your Closet - Accessories-Part1

I love independent fashion designers. They are fresh and not easily influenced by fashion trends. Today I am going to talk about some of my favorite indie accessories that I found out about via twitter. Yes Twitter! Who would have thought this micro blogging service would lead me to some chic and unique fashion lines from all over the world. The only question I have for you is - How Independent is your Closet?

Funk Eyewear
I found out about Funk Eyewear when they started to follow me on twitter. I checked out their website and fell in love. Now I am following them too! Funk eyewear is sick! They are unique and stylish. Though I love the entire line, my favorite eyewear collections are the Sashee Schuster and the Funk Food. Fink Food is just that - funky and stylish frames. The Sashee Schuster collection has a great vintage look. Funk Eyewear is not available in the US. I know I am sad too. I hope that the Funk eyewear will have them available to us Americans in the near future. Some good news - Funk eyewear is in London! So if you are traveling to see Big Ben or would love to shop at Brick Lane Market or Harvey Nichols, than make sure you get yourself some funk eyewear. They are too hot to pass up! For more information on Funk Eyewear please go to http://www.funk-eyewear.com/

BoutiqueDeBandeaux

I love handmade accessories especially for hair so had to show some love to BoutiqueDeBandeaux at Etsy.com. BoutiqueDeBandeaux hair accessories have some great piece for headband lovers. I think the entire BoutiqueDeBandeaux is worth buying especially the Fascinator Bridal Natural Hair Wedding Headband. When I renew my wedding vows, I am using this as a veil. I also love the Black White Feather Rhinestones headband. So cute! The entire shop is handmade couture headwear. The best thing about BoutiqueDeBandeaux is that their accessories work with any type of hair. Go and check out BoutiqueDeBandeau at http://www.etsy.com/shop/boutiquedebandeaux

Shocking Goat

When I first saw the name Shocking Goat as a follower on my twitter page, I was like WTH is a Shocking Goat but I was pleasantly surprise. Why do I love Shocking Goat so much, the are water resistance, colorful, and the faces of Shocking Goat Watches are interchangeable/fresh swap - see video below:

Shocking goat has tons of colors available so you watch can match any color scheme. SO check out Shocking Goat at http://www.shockinggoat.com/

I hope you enjoyed part 1 of How Independent is your Closet - Accessories

Side Note:I did not receive any compensation for writing this either I do not work for or affiliated with any of these companies. I just love their work and wanted to spread some stylish news to all of you!
