Heavy on Fashion Events : The Wedding Salon at the Hammerstein Ballroom

I had the honor of attending The Wedding Salon at The Hammerstein Ballroom on Wednesday, April 27th! The New York Wedding Expo and Bridal Show had everything to plan a dream wedding under one roof! Oh did I mention the fabulous drinks, free hors d'oeuvres, and complementary cake tasting throughout the day! Here is a look at The Wedding Salon at the Hammerstein Ballroom: The Crowd! The Crowd was huge!  I didn't get their name but they were really good and I loved their fashion sense!  Love the Look of this band! There also tons of DJ at The Wedding Salon.  Kiss Nails! The Kiss Nail Booth was packed with eager brides! Giving complementary manicures and eyelash applications to all the fabulous guest at the event was a definite crowd builder.  Kiss was giving away a basket full of goodness to a lucky bride and her brides maids at the event.  Awesome!  Free eyelashes and nails for everyone! Oh My Goo

I love heels from beautiful sling backs to stilettos platform pumps. I love the Very Prive Spikes platform heels from Louboutin or the 'Inga' high heel open-toe booties from Gucci but I can not walk let alone stand in those shoes. Not like I could afford them anyway but a girl can dream. The case being, I love heels. The look of them are so elegant and fierce. Too bad my feet, calves, and knees hate them. Every time I put my feet into my nude 4 inch pump, my legs wabble like a new born fawn taking its first steps. My knees scream in agony "What Are you doing to me!" My legs wonder why I put myself in the painful footwear and my feet are generally pissed off. Though my will and keen fashion sense are determine to make it out in my heels. I know that my first step will be my last.  So what is a girl to do when she love heels but can not walk in them? She buys colorful pairs flats, some killers wedges from DSW and calls it a day!  Maybe one day my toes, legs,
