My war with Heels

I love heels from beautiful sling backs to stilettos platform pumps. I love the Very Prive Spikes platform heels from Louboutin or the 'Inga' high heel open-toe booties from Gucci but I can not walk let alone stand in those shoes. Not like I could afford them anyway but a girl can dream. The case being, I love heels. The look of them are so elegant and fierce. Too bad my feet, calves, and knees hate them. Every time I put my feet into my nude 4 inch pump, my legs wabble like a new born fawn taking its first steps. My knees scream in agony "What Are you doing to me!" My legs wonder why I put myself in the painful footwear and my feet are generally pissed off. Though my will and keen fashion sense are determine to make it out in my heels. I know that my first step will be my last.

So what is a girl to do when she love heels but can not walk in them?

She buys colorful pairs flats, some killers wedges from DSW and calls it a day!

Maybe one day my toes, legs, and calves will be aligned with my fashion sense and heels will become my best friend.
But until then
My war with heel continues and I am losing!

  1. Um, can't say that I have the same problem, but I do understand your frustrations. I'm a cylcist and put in about 100 miles a week on my road bike. I also do yoga 2x a week which helps with stretching and flexibility. I would suggest a decent yoga class to work out your kinks and then gradually work your way to higher heels. And, it may suck, but you have to be consistent with the exercise AND wearing the heels.

Heels are a must have and we gotta get you in them soon! lol

  3. I actually had a similar post on my blog about heels and difficult it can be to wear them....I feel your pain. I am preparing for a fitness competition and I can say that no amount of yoga or exercise helps me....its because of the pressure it places on the sides of my feet and on my toes....though i must say regardless i try to power through :S

    Wedges can help....

  5. What about platforms, flatforms or wedges? They're just as cute and still give you height. Also, the chunkier of a heel you choose, the less pressure on your feet and the more comfortable to wear!

Hello, all my divas and gurus! I am very happy to bring you my latest thoughts on Chrome Girl Nails polish. I had the chance to check out 5 fabulous colors from the line, including the limited edition polish Jaded by EJ johnson. So without further ago, here is Heavy on Fashion reviews Chrome Girl Nail Polish collection.
Limited Edition Jaded by EJ Johnson: A metallic hunter green with an iridescent marbled look. This color pairs well with light pinks tones and blue / green colors!  You can also use some great contrasting colors like oranges and yellows. I also love that 100% of profits from the sale of JADED will benefit New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center - a non-profit organization that promotes independence and services to help young people get off the streets.  No Tan Lines: This is the perfect neutral tone.
