Heavy on Fashion Wig Out Wednesday - Swiss Lace and Zury Sis

Hello all my fashion divas and gurus! I am so happy to bring Heavy on Fashion's first Wig Out Wednesday. As you all may or may not know, I am currently going natural. So in order to protect my hair during this delicate stage I wear wigs. Growing up I have colored and permed my hair which left it damaged. While I get my mane back on take and aim for afro like Angela Davis, I will be give you a look at some of my favorite wigs to wear. I get my wigs from various places including online websites and local hair supply stores.

Here is my very first Heavy on Fashion Wig out Wednesday!

Today I have two wigs to show you. The first one is the Zury Sis Sister High Heat Comfy Lace Front Wig CFL-H DARIA. I decided to aim for a darker color when I purchased the Zury Sister High Heat Comfy Lace Front Wig CFL-H DARIA. This is a comfy lace front with 4 combs and a retractable cord.  I personally do not use lace front glue or tape. I feel it takes out your side so I cut the lace off and secure the cap with hair pins.

The color of this wig is Ombre 27/30/613. I loved the look from this style when I was shopping at Mega Wig in Orange, Nj. I love the ombre color and the wild curls. I am a huge fan of big hair so this wig gives me a lot of hair without the hassel. This wig is a low maintence piece and good for everyday use.

The  Zury Sister High Heat Comfy Lace Front Wig CFL-H DARIA retailed for $39.99.

I had to buy a blonde wig. Blonde is one of my go to colors as far as hair is concerned. This is the Swiss Lace Bohemian Wig Lace Alina in 27/30. This wig was on sale for just $10! Yeah you read right, $10! This is not many times you will find a wig for 10 bucks. This was a steal. Though I will not wear this on a daily basis, I mean I could not pass up this wig deal. I loved the look from this style when I was shopping at Mega Wig in Orange, Nj.

The only issue I have with this wig is that the curls fall very fast but it does leave a great wave effect.  Giving off a very Beachy look

Heavy on Fashion at Shecky's Girl Nights out in NYC - Fall 2011

Hey guys! As you all know, I had a chance to cover Shecky's Girls Night Out in New York City.  I am a fan of Shecky's  event but this time around I found some great fashion, a celebrity sighting, and of course some great cocktails. Here is Heavy on Fashion at Shecky's in NYC!

Vh1's Tough Love Miami @ Shecky's
Host and matchmaker Steve Ward along with fellow match maker and founder of Master Matchmaker Joann Ward (also Steve's Mom!) was at Shecky's giving out some great dating advice to all the ladies in New York!

Don't you just love this dress. Fabulous!

Here is a look at the crowd for Steve and Joann. Many ladies had some awesome question about relationships and dating. I have to say that Steve and Joann gave some grand advice.

Sidenote: I am really loving Joann's style!

When Steve took off his jacket, I knew he was  about to get down to business! He did and gave out some much needed Tough Love! Check out their site at http://www.mastermatchm…

Heavy on Fashion Goes to The Alex Soldier Showroom

Hey everyone! I had a great opportunity to visit the The Alex Soldier Showroom in New York City. I became familiar with Alex Soldier at a private showcase in New York City. When I received a email from Maria Soldier, Executive Director of the Alex Soldier Showroom, to come and check out the Alex Soldier collection in New York City. I was honored.

Alex Soldier has a vast collection of jewelry and artwork that is exceptional in craftsmanship and quality. From unique luxury jewelry with exotic diamonds and precious stone designed for the rich and famous to awards for Royalty. Alex is a creator and a example of true artistry in the world of luxury.

Here is one of my favorite piece from Alex's collection. This starfish ring is full of precious stones including diamonds. The best thing some of Alex Soldiers' pieces is that are interchangeable. Each piece has a custom key for each interchangeable piece.  They can be a ring or a pin. I believe the company is also working on making these…
