Heavy on Fashion Events - New York Fashion Week Part 3 #ThrowBack

Hello all my fashion divas and gurus! This Part three of my NYFW adventure. I know it has been a while..so sorry but I promise I have tons of new content coming this week! Coming to Heavy on fashion this week and following weeks to come. I will have beauty hauls, wig reviews, interviews with new innovative designers, beauty hauls, and, book reviews. 

But I digress... Let talk about my final day at #NYFW at Couture Fashion Week. 




Matthew Cashe 

I am so happy to check out a great designers from New Jersey, Matthew Cashe. As you all may or may not know, I am a Jersey Girl. It was great to see fellow New Jerseyan an showcasing their work in New York City. Matthew Cashe collection is full of class elegant gowns and tailor suits that I can see at any black tie event.

Alvertis Alexander

Heavy on Fashion at the Fashionista.com Panel Discussion in NYC

Hello all my Heavy On Fashion Readers, I am happy that I got the chance to attend the Fashionista.com:  How I’m Making It: What It Takes To Succeed In Fashion panel discussion on Monday, May 9th at the NYU Cantor Film Center. The panel was full of professionals in the Fashion Industry. Here is quick bio of the speakers at the panel Skye Parrott is the Photographer and Creative Director of  Dossier  Magazine. Katherine Krause is the Editor of  Dossier  Magazine. Gayle Dizon is a founder of Dizon Inc. Dizon is an acclaimed production company for some of the best fashion brands in the industry. Dizon Inc, is known for their fabulous fashion shows productions.   Cindy Krupp is the founder of the Krupp Group. Krupp Group is a public relations agency that works with tons of fashion designers including Chris Benz and tons of companies. Heavy on Fashion at Shecky's Girls Night Out

Hello all my Heavy on Fashion lovers. I got the chance to go to Shecky's Girls night out June 22nd. I had a wonderful time especially because I got the chance to go with fashion forward mom. It was great. Tons of accessories, great original fashions, independent and famous designers.  There was tons of  independent fashion designers and  many shoppers at Sheckys. This was a great place to pick up some serious trends for new and well known designers from all over.  You know I love private owned labels so if you are like me and want to support unique and new designers. You can find tons of them at Shecky's Girls Night Out!  The Music was great but the drinks were even better! You can never go wrong with a free cocktail!SHout out to Bud Light and Barcardi!  If you are not a fan of beer and cocktails, the wine selection at Sheckys was great too!
