So without further ado, Here is
Heavy on Fashion reviews:
Gerard Cosmetics lipsticks and lip glosses

One of my favorite colors from Gerard lipstick line is Cherry Cordial. This color is gorgeous! Great for any season but to be honest really ideal for the fall. The super rich dark cherry red color is a must for the fall/winter months. I love applying Cherry Cordial when I need a dramtic and fun pop color to my look.

I have to say I did sport this color in the summer and still loved it. The matte finish is ideal for anytime use. I do love the this lipstick is made in the U.S.A, is a Cruelty free product, and gulten free  (Side Note: I didn't know that some lipsticks have gluten in them. Who knew?)

The Cherry Cordial lipstick from Gerard Cosmetics retails for $19.00 and you can buy it at

My next lipstick color from GC is called French toast. I use french toast everyday. No seriously!n It is a great neutral color for my complexion. French Toast is a great for everyday use like picking up your mail from the P.O. box, buying your favorite wig, running some errands, or anything else you are getting accmplished for the day.

I also love using French Toast as a base color when using a lipgloss or another lipstick to make a cool and interesting lip effect. French toast is also Made in the U.S.A, cruelty free, and gluten free.
The French toast is also $19.00 which is a nice price for a high quality lipstick. You can checkout this color and more at

This is Jewel from the Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss collection by Gerard Cosmetics.  Jewel is like a dark berry red color lip gloss with a light shimmer tone. I love the Jewel color for the fall but works all year round. I also love that Gerard Cosmetics also has a little mirror and a light on each lipgloss. This is essential for any lifestyle blogger on the move.

Jewel also looks great in combination especially with Cherry Cordial lipstick. I personally love lathering my lip glosses and lipstick. Jewel is a great gloss for red/berry color combinations. Jewel looks fabulous on any skin tone and a easy way to dress up any look. Jewel is the "Where are you going after work" lipgloss.

Now the lipglosses from Gerard Cosmeics are $24, a bit more than the lipsticks, but still a great price considering that each gloss has a mirror and a light!

This is Summer Sun. Summer Sun is a super fun color.  This is the lipgloss you wear at the neighborhood block party, on your vacation, or at the music festival like Afro Punk or Governors Ball. Summer Sun will brighten up any look. This color is a targerine/blood orange look. The photos really do not do this color any justice. I will say I only recommend this color for the spring/summer. You can use this with other colors during the fall/winter season but as a supporting lip cast member not a main lip star.

I love combining Summer Sun with French Toast or any tan/caramel tone lipstick. I found that tan and caramel tones tend to make the Summer Sun lipgloss pop better on the lips. This is such a fun and funky color.

Summer Sun is also $24 and includes a built in lighht and a mirror! Got to and pick up your Summer Sun today!

I am so grateful to the lovelies at Gerard Cosmetics for providing me with these fabulous colors!
Again,  I will give you a look at this and other combinations using all four Gerard Cosmetics tomorrow evening on my periscope page at
