Hello all my divas and gurus! I am so happy to bring you my latest interview with the creators of Erimish Bracelet Bar, Misha Wilson and Ericka Hamilton. The Erimish bracelets are affordable stackable bracelets. The founders, Misha Wilson and Ericka Hamilton,  found inspiration for the fabulous collection from everyday life. With over 1000 styles currently available, each stack of Erimish bracelets is a unique reflection of  anyone's style and flair!

Heavy on Fashion: How did Erimish come to be?


 Erimish Bracelet Bar: We started a “bracelet bar” in our retail location and it was a hit.


Heavy on Fashion: When did you realize you wanted to become a jewelry designer?

 Erimish Bracelet Bar: 8th Grade 


Heavy on Fashion:  What is your favorite part about being a designer? What is your least favorite part about being a designer?

 Erimish Bracelet Bar:  Freedom of style




Heavy on Fashion: What was the first piece of jewelry you ever designed?

 Erimish Bracelet Bar: Bracelets





Heavy on Fashion: What do you like best about designing jewelry? What do you dislike about designing?

    Erimish Bracelet Bar:  Like: Mixing colors and textures to create a color that is new.
     Dislike: The trial and error- it’s hard to cut a bracelet apart after so much thought.





Heavy on Fashion: What advise would you give any budding designers?

Erimish Bracelet Bar: Mix styles and color together that you don’t think will work. You will be surprised.




Heavy on Fashion:  How has the outside world influence the Erimish brand?

Erimish Bracelet Bar: Colors and patterns are our biggest influence.




Heavy on Fashion: Describe the Erimish woman?

   Erimish Bracelet Bar: Late 30’s busy mom- but wants to be stylish.





Heavy on Fashion: If they had the chance to design for *anyone* who would it be.. Who do you think is the most stylish person around?


Erimish Bracelet Bar: Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon, SJP



Heavy on Fashion: Where do you see Erimish in 10 years?

Erimish Bracelet Bar:  On the arms of celebrities who want some sparkle and color on their days off.

Hello all my Heavy On Fashion Readers, I am happy that I got the chance to attend the Fashionista.com:  How I’m Making It: What It Takes To Succeed In Fashion panel discussion on Monday, May 9th at the NYU Cantor Film Center. The panel was full of professionals in the Fashion Industry. Here is quick bio of the speakers at the panel Skye Parrott is the Photographer and Creative Director of  Dossier  Magazine. Katherine Krause is the Editor of  Dossier  Magazine. Gayle Dizon is a founder of Dizon Inc. Dizon is an acclaimed production company for some of the best fashion brands in the industry. Hey everyone! I was glad to receive a invite to the ME Char Handbags Blogger's Brunch in New York City.  I was so excited that I left my digital camera at home. Thank goodness for my camera phone.  You know I love to go to city especially when fashion and style are involved! So here is an exclusive look at Me Char Blogger Brunch, a look at the Me Char Showroom, and a exclusive preview of the Me Char handbag collection.  The Bags The Spring/Summer 2012 collection - The Iconic Collection Charmaine inspiration for her Spring/Summer 2012 collection was the late and Stylish Edie Sedgwick. Edie was the muse of Andy Warhol and fashion icon of the 60's.  Edie lived a glamorous and tragic life.
